See Our Design and Renovation Work…

We transformed a dingy old kitchen in a 1970s home into a stylish place to entertain by installing wooden laminate tile flooring, granite counter tops, new lighting, and re-finishing the existing cabinets (a more affordable solution than replacing). And of course, fresh paint! We disassembled the 1970s style peninsula that very much dated the look, and converted it into a modern kitchen island — all done on the home owners limited budget. By finding creative ways to re-use what we can, and selectively adding new installations (like the flooring and granite), we  can deliver powerful ‘bang for the buck’. All design and installation work done by Best Value Home Services. Want to see what it looked like before…. take a look below… (more “before” photos coming soon!).

This was “Before”….This is what the kitchen looked like before our re-do. Yes, these are the same cabinets – we refinished them (the correct way!) and added new, modern hardware for a sleek and modern new look.  Of course, we also repainted, installed new granite counters, a new sink, sleek new plumbing, fixtures, and replaced the flooring….

Bathroom Re-Do: Before….

Before: This bathroom needed some love!  The clients wanted an update, but had a limited budget to make it happen.  See the “after” photo below…

“After”:  This is what we came up with for them with fresh paint, contemporary lighting, a new toilet (mainly because the old one had “issues”), a granite vanity with built in sunken sink, and of course, new chrome fixture. Bye-bye 1970s, hello 2017!  We refinished the existing cabinets and replaced the hardware with stylish and contemporary brushed nickel pulls to save the home owners on the cost of replacing; we installed good quality new vinyl flooring that very closely resembled real tile in look and texture, and installed a fabulous new mirror for a stylish and totally up-to-date look.  What do you think… did we succeed in taking this bathroom from “drab” to FAB!”…?  We’d love to do it for you!

Take a Peek at the Work in Progress… The new flooring and toilet are in, but there’s still work to be done.  You saw how it turned out 🙂

Back in its day (1976), this house had been a former show home, literally. But after suffering years of neglect, it was ready to be restored to its former glory when it came into new hands. We were up for the task and we knew just what to do!  See the “after” shot below….

“After”:  We repainted the trim with a more suitable and modern color that complimented the stone work.  We removed the storm door and re-painted the front door to clean up the look. We tidied up the front flower bed, removed weeds, and added weed barrier and wood mulch.  We re-did the front sidewalk, re-using slabs (for cost saving purposes) from the owners former home that had been removed during another project we had done for them there.  We also significantly “healthified” the lawn, however, the before shot doesn’t show enough of the lawn to communicate what we mean… we removed some of the rock that had existed near the front of the house and extended the sod. The owners wanted a small amount of the rock left for a future project they had in mind, so we left that in place.

Lots more photos of our work on the way as soon as we find time to upload them!
Our clients are keeping us busy!
